Finalist Team Presentations at the 2023 ITE Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon

Each team will be giving a 10-minute presentation in front of a panel of judges at the 2023 ITE Annual Meeting, where they'll face questions and be expected to speak to the technical aspects of their solution. Presentations will take place Monday, August 14th 2-3:30pm PST. A team will then be selected as the 2023 Transportation Technology Tournament Winner and announced at the August 15 Plenary session.

AASHTO PUBLICATIONS | Transportation Operations Manual First Edition

The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials released a video showcasing the first edition of its “Transportation Operations Manual” – a new guidebook for transportation systems management and operations or TSMO efforts approved for publication by the AASHTO board of directors in October 2022.

Virtual Train-the-Trainer Course

Virtual Train-the-Trainer Course

Tuesday, August 15th, 2023
8:00am – 4:30pm (EDT) [5:00am – 1:30pm (PDT)]

The Train-the-Trainer (TtT) course covers eight hours of material and is intended to provide participants (i.e., trainers) the knowledge and materials necessary for them to conduct TIM training for responders in their area or state.

Requirements for participation:
• Prior instructional and TIM experience
• Commitment to providing training to other TIM responders in your area
• Commitment to submitting your training records

The target audience for the course is all TIM disciplines, including: Communications, Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Fire/Rescue, Law Enforcement, Towing and Recovery, and Transportation/Public Works.
 

Note, this session is open to individuals from all 50 States, D.C., and Puerto Rico, but will be limited to 40 participants.
