The Talking TIM webinar series, brought to you by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), provides a forum where TIM champions with any level of experience can exchange information about current practices, programs, and technologies. Each month, the FHWA TIM Program Team will feature content that highlights successful programs, identifies best practices, and showcases technology that advances the profession. This month, the FHWA TIM Program focuses on Innovative Tools for Responder and Road Worker Safety:
- AASHTO's Role in TIM – Joseph Sagal, American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Committee on Transportation Systems Operations (CTSO) member, will discuss AASHTO's role in advancing TIM. This is a part of the "Meet the Executive Leadership Group" series.
- Nebraska Tow Temporary Traffic Control Program – Tony Carr, Traffic Incident Management and TSMO Specialist, HDR and Matt Neemann, Traffic Control Engineer at Nebraska DOT
- Fire Truck Attenuators for Temporary Traffic Control – Chief Robert Fite, Fire Chief at Grand Prairie Fire Department, Texas.
- Massachusetts Legislation for Driver and Responder Safety – Neil E. Boudreau, Assistant Administrator for Traffic and Safety, Massachusetts Department of Transportation, Highway Division.
