Summary:

The initiative recognizing all traffic incident management (TIM) response communities will take place this year from November 7 -13, 2021. This week is our opportunity to make a difference individually and jointly for roadway safety during traffic incident response by teaching each other and the motoring public about our common goal and responsibility for safe, quick clearance.

During this webinar, the FHWA TIM Team will introduce key social media themes by day of week for NTIRAW. The webinar also spotlights two agencies that are coordinating “Mega Training” events to commemorate NTIRAW:

  • David McDonald, Traffic Incident Management Coordinator, Texas Department of Transportation.
  • Angela Barnett, Executive Director, Arizona Professional Towing and Recovery Association.

The FHWA invites TIM professionals, State and local public information and communications officers, and Response community leaders to this planning webinar. During this and subsequent planning webinars, the FHWA co-leads will conduct an all-state roll call, requesting responder communities in each State highlight their plans to commemorate the week. We kindly request highlights be limited to a minute or two.

Monthly planning webinars will take place on the second Wednesday of each month. Please visit NOCoE Webinar Calendar to register for future webinars.
