Start Date:
-Summary:
Workshop to learn about what ATSPMs are and how they can be used to actively monitor signal performance and proactively identify and correct deficiencies before they negatively impact arterial operations. We’ll dive into what ATSPMs are, how they’re used to time traffic signals, explore real-world applications with ATSPMs, and look into some advanced applications using high-resolution data. Lunch will be provided.
The intended audience for this workshop is signal operators and engineers at local agencies and the consultants that work for them. Expect to get deep into the weeds about how to use SPMs to improve signal operation and better maintain signal systems, as well as additional ways outside of signal timing that high resolution data can be utilized. Seating is limited.
Learning Objectives:
Session 1 - What are ATSPMs
- Relating ATSPMs to Operations Objectives
- Selecting an ATSPM approach based on Agency Capability and Infrastructure including different vendor solutions available and minimum system requirements to deploy ATSPMs
