Talking TIM Webinar Series: May 2021

Overview

The Talking TIM webinar series, brought to you by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), provides a forum where TIM champions with any level of experience can exchange information about current practices, programs, and technologies. Each month, the FHWA TIM Program Team will feature content that highlights successful programs, identifies best practices, and showcases technology that advances the profession. This month, the FHWA TIM Program brings forth multiple TIM-related topics:

  • Incident Detours Involving Railroad Crossings – Norma Jean Griffiths, Grade Crossing and Trespass Manager with the Federal Transit Administration, will discuss detour consideration and resources involving railroad crossings. There's an app for it!
  • Washington State's TIM Program and Virtual Coordination – Tony Leingang, the Washington State DOT Incident Management and Operations Administrator, will provide an overview of their agency's TIM program and virtual coordination strategies.
