The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has announced a new initiative – “Road to Tomorrow,” to make a 200-mile section of Interstate 70 across the midsection of the state available to private industry, entrepreneurs and innovators as a laboratory to construct the next generation of highways. Their intent is for national and world technology leaders to collaborate with Missouri DOT with their innovative products and ideas.  More informaton is available here on the Missouri DOT web site.
