The USDOT has released several new research reports and fact sheets highlighting the research initiatives and latest findings and results from the Department's Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Program. The reports were funded by the ITS Joint Program Office.

Smart Roadside Initiative User Manual

This document provides user instructions for the Smart Roadside Initiative (SRI) applications, including mobile and web-based. These applications involve smartphone-enabled information exchange and notification and include software components that present aggregated information via a system dashboard. SRI supports jurisdiction-specific decision-making about enforcement actions, inspections and reporting.
