U.S. Department of Transportation Releases Request for Information to Support the Accessible Transportation Technology Research Initiative

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) is seeking informed views on the opportunities in and challenges to the development, deployment, operation, and use of accessible transportation applications. In particular, the USDOT seeks candidate accessible transportation technology applications to be developed through the Accessible Transportation Technology Research Initiative (ATTRI). 

  

This Request for Information (RFI) is being published to gatherinformation on accessible transportation applications and technologies that will enable the realization of a multimodal, accessible, and equitable transportation system. Such a system will promote independent living and personal mobility of travelers with disabilities and improve the overall travel experience of all users, including those with disabilities.
