Transformational Technology Company Enhances Industry Thought Leadership By Reinventing Personal Mobility

Uber Technologies, Inc. has joined the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) Leadership Circle, as announced April 9th, 2015 by Thomas E. Kern, ITS America Interim President and Chief Executive Officer.

The San Francisco based company will join 39 established members of the ITS America Leadership Circle. "Uber is a perfect fit for this prestigious group of innovative transportation organizations," Kern said. "The company created a new mobile platform that empowers individuals to make on-demand mobility decisions, and we are excited to bring that kind of ingenuity to the table as the Leadership Circle tackles some of the world's most critical transportation issues."
