Presentations from the Connected Vehicle Pilot Webinars on the Insights, Challenges, and Lessons Learned from the First Phase Are Now Available Online

Presentations and recordings from webinars discussing the first phase of each of the Connected Vehicle Pilots are now available online. The webinars explored the insights, challenges, and lessons learned from the Concept Development phase of the Connected Vehicle Pilot sites.

Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Transportation's Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office (ITS JPO), the Connected Vehicle Pilot Deployment Program seeks to combine connected vehicle and mobile device technologies in innovative and cost-effective ways. Ultimately, this program will improve traveler mobility and system productivity while reducing environmental impacts and enhancing safety. The three selected pilot sites are ICF/Wyoming Department of Transportation, New York City Department of Transportation, and Tampa (THEA). The sites are conducting the pilots in three phases--Phase 1: Concept Development, Phase 2: Design/Build/Test, and Phase 3: Operations.
