On August 27, 2018, the National Operations Center of Excellence announced the release of three case studies around emergency management and response:

• Drone Use During the Amtrak Cascades Derailment and Response
• Corridor Wide Planning Ahead of the Amtrak Cascades Derailment
• I-85 Bridge Collapse and Rebuild
