The National Operations Center of Excellence (NOCoE) has released four new case studies on the outstanding projects and initiatives honored by the inaugural TSMO Awards. The category award winners are:

Best TSMO Project: Arizona DOT US-60 Restripe Project (see full case study)

Improving an Agency's TSMO Capabilities: ITS Heartland's TSMO University Educational Program (see case study)

Major Incident or Special Event: North Carolina DOT's Hurricane Florence Preparation and Response (see case study)

Public Communications: Oregon TIM Responder's Use of Social Media (see case study)

The four category winners will be honored January 13, 2019 at 5pm ET during the TRB 2019 Exhibit Hall Opening Reception. Please join us at booth #935 to honor these incredible projects and to learn about this year's individual TSMO Champion.

Additionally, an Overall TSMO Award winner, chosen from the four category winners, will be announced on Monday, January 14 during the TRB session "A National Dialogue on Highway Automation: Advancing the Conversation, Part 2" at 10:15am - 12:00pm.
