Work Zone Strategies to Improve Safety

This webinar will cover several strategies to improve work zone safety, including traveler information, queue warnings, and permitting systems to notify drivers of route change requirements. Speakers from several states will discuss their implementation, lessons learned, and benefits of these strategies to improve work zone safety. 

Transportation officials, industry, the public, and commercial motor carriers are all pursuing the safe and efficient flow of traffic through work zones. TSMO practitioners have many strategies to pursue these goals, but learning from previously implemented projects will help guide decision making for future implementations.
