Summary:
The webinar will explore how the use of geofencing may improve the capabilities and performance of transportation management systems (TMSs). This webinar will highlight how using geofencing has enabled TMSs to improve the use of operational strategies, provision of services, or performing specific functions. The webinar will discuss the challenges and lessons learned with planning, designing, implementing, and integrating geofencing into the management and operation of TMSs.
This webinar is part of Traffic Management Center Pooled Fund Study project to share information on traffic management system (TMS) emerging topics and an ongoing series focused on sharing information on emerging traffic management system (TMS) topics being co-sponsored by the National Operations Center of Excellence (NOCoE), Traffic Management Center Pooled Fund Study, and FHWA.
