Use of Operations Data and Strategies for Proactive Safety Intervention

This webinar will examine how traffic operations strategies and data can be leveraged for proactive safety interventions, with a focus on integrating technologies such as connected vehicle (CV) data, advanced analytics, and predictive modeling. It will also highlight key research needs identified to advance proactive safety applications. In addition, presenters from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the City of Bellevue will share real-world examples demonstrating the effective use of operations strategies and data to improve safety outcomes. The webinar will highlight the importance of integrated and proactive safety strategies and key opportunities and challenges in scaling and sustaining operations-based and data-driven safety interventions.
