Summary:

The Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office is pleased to announce a series of webinars regarding the USDOT-sponsored Dynamic Mobility Applications (DMA) bundles, Open Source Application Development Portal (OSADP), and AMS Testbed Project. These webinars will inform stakeholders and interested parties of the research effort, progress, and impacts of each bundle. Each webinar will be 60 minutes in length and will present an overview of the bundle, a description of prototypes(s) or algorithms, testing and impacts assessment results, and a stakeholder question and answer session.

 

This particular webinar will present the Multimodal Intelligent Traffic Signal System (MMITSS) bundle of applications. Ben McKeever of the FHWA will describe the prototype development efforts taking place in Anthem, Arizona and Northern California. Dr. Govind Vadakpat of the FHWA will present the preliminary impacts assessment effort and the estimation of MMITSS benefits.
