-Summary:
The Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office is pleased to announce a series of webinars regarding the USDOT-sponsored Dynamic Mobility Applications (DMA) bundles, Open Source Application Development Portal (OSADP), Research Data Exchange (RDE), and AMS Testbed Project. These webinars will inform stakeholders and interested parties of the research effort, progress, and impacts of each research project. Each webinar will present an overview of the project, a description of products (e.g., prototypes, algorithms, and software), tools and other resources available from these projects, a brief of testing and impacts assessment results, and a stakeholder question and answer session.
This one and half hour special webinar includes presentations of both the RDE as well as the related OSADP. These two projects provide open source connected vehicle (CV) data and software for researchers and CV application developers. Dr. Gene McHale of the FHWA will present an overview of the RDE website (https://www.its-rde.net) and walk through the features, the data sets, and tools available. Dr. Jon Obenberger of the FHWA will brief the OSADP website (http://www.itsforge.net) and demonstrate the functionality, software, tools, and resources.
