To help transportation agencies meet today’s challenges, the second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP2) developed tools and training to advance transportation systems management and operations (TSMO). In recent years many transportation agencies have piloted the products developed under the SHRP2 Reliability Focus area to evaluate their TSMO capabilities, improve business processes and workforce capabilities for TSMO, consider travel time reliability in traffic and investment analysis, and enhance interagency collaboration for safer, more reliable system performance. This poster session includes presentations from a diverse set of transportation agencies on the experiences, successes, and lessons learned using SHRP2 Reliability products to enhance TSMO practices in their agency or region.
