TOM Talks: Linking TSMO to Capital Projects

TOM Talks is a webinar series from the National Operations Center of Excellence that focuses on using the Transportation Operations Manual (TOM) to implement TSMO strategic and tactics and to expand practitioner knowledge on TSMO. 

The August 2025 webinar will focus on linking TSMO to capital projects. Speakers will present on proactively including TSMO input and review during various steps of project development including from planning and programming into project development.  Examples will include state DOT methods used for TSMO input into project planning, programming, and development as well as integration of TSMO into project design, construction and on going maintenance.  

These strategies are referenced in the current version of the TOM (Chapter 15:  Linking TSMO to Capital Projects).
