Commissioner Dave Bernhardt and the Maine Department of Transportation, along with Patricia Quinn, Executive Director of the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority, are pleased to host the 2012 National Meeting of the AASHTO Standing Committee on Rail Transportation (SCORT) in downtown Portland, Maine.
SCORT addresses all policy, regulatory, safety and enforcement issues affecting the ability of States to develop and maintain their segments of an efficient national freight and passenger rail transportation network.
The 2012 National Meeting will address critical and timely issues such as: High Speed and Intercity Passenger Rail and Freight Rail and Economic Development.
Unless otherwise noted, attendance and participation from other industry and government stakeholders at all SCORT National Meeting sessions is strongly encouraged.
