SSP Idea Sharing Network: Working with Electric Vehicles

Start Date:

-

Summary:

On Thursday, March 2nd, from 1 PM to 3 PM EST, SafeHighways.org will host its twenty-sixth Safety Service Patrol Idea Sharing Network webinar. During this interactive session, SSP professionals will discuss best practices relating to working with electric vehicles (EVs). As more electric vehicles are hitting the road, it’s important for patrol operators to understand the different models, safety risks, and proper procedures to take when approaching or working with these vehicles.

Participants in the webinar will walk away with helpful resources and information relating to moving and towing EVs, the do’s and don’ts for safety, traffic control for fire related incidents, and quick charge methods. The webinar will include speakers that have expertise in working with electric vehicles and a Q&A segment with the audience.

We also encourage those who have experience in the topic to share their advice and best practices during the call. If you are interested in presenting on this topic, please reach out to: ssp@safehighways.org.
