The Safety Service Patrol Idea Sharing Network was first established in collaboration with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in 2015 to provide an open forum for Safety Service Patrol (SSP) professionals to connect and discuss topics relevant to the industry. Three times a year the SSP Idea Sharing Network invites patrol managers and supervisors and FHWA Division Administrators to participate on a two-hour webinar. The webinars focus on a specific theme and include presentations from industry representatives. Previous webinar themes have included SSP Standard Operating Procedures, Training, Performance Measures, Equipment and Vehicle Selection, Preparing and Responding to Major Traffic Events and more. The next webinar will be hosted in collaboration with NOCoE on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 1 PM to 3 PM EST.
