The "Enabling Technologies for Vehicle Automation" webinar will discuss current capabilities and future direction for key automated vehicle-enabling technologies. The webinar aims to share project findings and receive expert feedback from the automated vehicle technology community.

This webinar builds off of the Automated Vehicle Symposium "Enabling Technologies" breakout session, which took place last July in Detroit, Michigan.

Learning Objectives:

This webinar will:

  • Help participants clearly understand the current capabilities, limitations, and future direction of automated vehicle technologies.
  • Create a framework that positions these key enabling technologies in relation to: (1) anticipated automated vehicle and infrastructure capabilities, and (2) anticipated automated vehicle and infrastructure needs and opportunities.
