Summary:CARMA is a United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) program developed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) involved in advancing research and development of cooperative driving automation (CDA) with the objective of accelerating market readiness and deployment. CDA enables automated vehicles (AVs) to communicate between vehicles, infrastructure devices, and road users such as pedestrians and cyclists. The webinar will introduce two products of the CARMA Ecosystem, CARMA Cloud and CARMA Streets. CARMA Cloud is a cloud-based management of transportation systems. CARMA Streets is a vehicle-to-infrastructure roadside platform. The webinar also presents what is next in the CARMA program.
