2015 Standing Committee on Rail Transportation Washington Meeting

State Rail Officials will have the opportunity to engage key Federal Administration and Congressional rail leaders, Class I and Short Line freight railroad partners, Amtrak, shippers, public and private sector rail advocacy groups and others during this intensive two day meeting. As freight rail, intermodal transportation and passenger rail needs at the state and regional level continue to grow and change this meeting will give members an opportunity to know what is transpiring in Washington, to influence its direction, and to exchange information on issues vital to maintaining a strong rail system in support of economic growth and competitiveness.
