2013 Standing Committee on Rail Transportation Washington Meeting

The Standing Committee on Rail Transportation will hold its Annual Washington Meeting February 19-20, 2013. Member departments will have the opportunity to participate in peer exchanges and to engage with important rail stakeholders including the Federal Railroad Administration, Class I and shortline railroads, Amtrak, Members of Congress and their staff, Shippers, public and private sector rail advocacy groups and others during this intensive two day meeting. As freight rail, intermodal transportation and passenger rail needs at the state and regional level continue to grow and change this meeting will give members an opportunity to know what is transpiring in Washington, to influence its direction, and to exchange information on issues vital to maintaining a strong rail system in support of economic growth and competitiveness.
