AASHTO Highway Subcommittee on Design meeting is where states and industry convene to discuss design issues, best practices and innovative techniques concerning the design of transportation projects. The Subcommittee is charged with oversight of 11 active technical committees ranging from Non-motorized Transportation, Geometric Design, Roadside Safety, Pavements, Cost Estimating, Electronic Engineering Data and Preconstruction Engineering Management. In attendance of this meeting, you will find the State DOT’s head of the Design Functions, FHWA staff concerning Design issues, as well as participates from industry, particularly the engineering design firms.
