Overview
In 2026, NOCoE will host the 9th annual Transportation Technology Tournament, a competition for students to solve real-world transportation challenges. All participants have an opportunity to win free travel to the ITE Annual Meeting, taking place July 19-26, 2026 in Detroit, MI.
This webinar provided details on the technical and problem-solving training provided for student teams and they blend their own expertise with TSMO strategies to develop solutions to real-world transportation problems. We also provided an overview of the tournament structure, timeline, and discuss the tournament theme of 2026: Safety.
The tournament connects students with public agencies and industry members and teaches teamwork, creativity, presentation skills, and how to effectively communicate technology solutions.
