Overview
This presentation was part of the SHRP2 Tuesdays webinar series. The SHRP2-R11 team used the opportunity to introduce the WISE software, which is the product of the SHRP2 R-11 project. The Work zone Implementation Strategies Estimator (WISE) was developed as an engine with two parts. The strategic purpose of this was to take minimal information from an existing network and little to no detail about needed projects, and begin the strategic planning process of developing a sequence of projects into a rational program. Then, as more information becomes available, the analysis can be refined and changes to the project sequence can be analyzed.
