Washington State DOT Emergency Operations Plan

Overview

The purpose of the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) identifies what the correct policies, responsibilities, and procedures are during a major emergency. Such emergencies could cause a disruption of the transportation network, a loss of power, or a loss of availability of senior management or personnel. This plan is the first point of reference for anyone who is looking for what to do in an emergency.

This document contains a plethora of information about various emergency operations, including standard operations procedures for a natural disaster or terrorist attack, emergency detour routes, and training and exercise plans.
