Overview
This brief three-page document provides an overview of the purpose, methodology, and deliverables of the SHRP2-L02 Project. Project L02 was conducted to create methods by which travel time reliability can be monitored, assessed, and communicated to end users of the transportation system. The project developed guidance for operating agencies about how they can put reliability measurement methods into practice by enhancing existing monitoring systems or creating new ones. The project’s main product is a guidebook which describes how to develop and use a Travel Time Reliability Monitoring System (TTRMS).
