Overview
This summary presents an overview of the results of the 2007 National Traffic Signal Report Card, the noteworthy findings and suggestions on how to use the results. This document is a continuation of work begun in 2005 and intends to focus attention on the operation and maintenance of traffic signal systems—an activity that can produce one of the highest benefit-cost ratios for improvement to the highway transportation system.
