Overview
The Guide examines the way transportation agencies should be organized to successfully execute operations programs that improve travel time reliability. After the Guide was submitted for publication, the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) converted the SHRP 2 Reliability Project L06 research into the web-based tool, Transportation Systems Management and Operations Guidance, that is designed to be user-friendly, easy to access, and updatable. A brief summary is available here.
The same project that produced this Guide also produced SHRP 2 Report: Institutional Architectures to Improve Systems Operations and Management.
