2018 France-US Roundtable on Connected and Autonomous Vehicles

Overview

Building on the successful 2017 France/United States Bilateral Roundtable held at Washington, DC, this follow-up event continued the dialogue among key French and US officials on a range of matters addressing connected and automated vehicle research, policy, and operations taking place in the two countries.

The workshop offered an opportunity for both delegations to present their latest initiatives and then engage in a wide ranging discussion about opportunities for knowledge transfer, application, and learning to support the broader outcomes of each nation's transportation strategies. The roundtable took place during the US Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting (January 7-11) in Washington, DC.

The following will describe the meeting agenda as well as a summary of the roundtable, along with links for downlaoding presenatations and supporting document.
