Webinar: Engaging Public Works, Towing and Recovery, and Safety Service Patrol communities in Traffic Incident Response Week 2017

Overview

Traffic Incident Management (TIM) and responder safety presents unique challenges to the Public Works, Towing & Recovery, and Safety Service Patrol Communities. In work zones, traffic incidents, and in assisting the traveling public on the roads, members of the communities put themselves in harm way and risk injury and death from secondary crashes.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is leading the effort to organize Traffic Incident Response Week Nov, 13-19., 2017. Practitioners from safety service patrol, public works, and towing communities will talk about the challenges and issues they face and what they might do to highlight that during the week.
