TOM Talks: TSMO Program Plans

Overview

This webinar discusses TOM’s guidance on TSMO Program Plans and features several state DOT leaders discussing their use of their TSMO Program Plan.

This webinar highlights the TOM’s guidance on the strategic, programmatic, and tactical elements of the TSMO plans, and dives into specific elements of a TSMO program plan. The webinar then discusses the program plan development process and highlight exemplary practices from Minnesota, Ohio, and Texas in developing their own program plans.

As the TOM states, “A TSMO program plan encompasses the formal activities and supporting documents to justify and guide the development of the policies, resources, business and technical processes, institution framework, and collaborative activities needed to deliver the most effective TSMO.

TOM Talks is a webinar series from the National Operations Center of Excellence that focuses on using the Transportation Operations Manual (TOM) to implement TSMO strategic and tactics and to expand practitioner knowledge on TSMO.
