Overview
This webinar series provides an overview of how the TSMO Workforce Guidebook was developed and the resources that resulted from the completed the NCHRP report and on-going NOCoE efforts. Ongoing efforts are actively addressing workforce needs for jobs requiring university degrees within transportation organizations. The next logical step is to look at positions that do not require a bachelor’s degree. This webinar provides an introduction and overview of the TSMO Paraprofessional white paper which focuses on a wide range of critical support positions and discusses a variety of issues transportation agencies will likely face and potential paths forward for them to be better prepared to recruit, retain and develop a TSMO paraprofessional workforce. This webinar also provides additional information on other NOCoE activities such as the NOCoE Fellowship, student tournaments, and competitions and 2020 outreach efforts.
