Crowdsourcing Summit Follow-Up September 2017

Overview

Thanks to those who participated in the recent Crowdsourcing Summit on September 14, 2017. This meeting, hosted by the Travel Information Services Committee and the Delaware Valley HOGs, brought together more than 70 persons from throughout the coalition in-person and via web, to discuss the use of Waze by Coalition member agencies. Participants included members of the Del Val, Tri-State and Potomac HOGs as well as the Travel Info Services Committee.

Seven speakers from throughout the Coalition discussed how Waze data is being captured, filtered and evaluated. Presentations highlighted the operations and travel information use of data. Throughout the event participants were able to ask questions and get information to help their efforts.
