Overview
FHWA has developed a primer on applying asset management to traffic signals assets through collaboration between the Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) and Transportation Asset Management (TAM) communities. This primer uses a framework that is consistent with the requirements for Transportation Asset Management Plans (TAMP) requirements. The webinar shares highlights from the Primer including leading practice, challenges, and lessons learned to help those who may be considering or have just started applying asset management to traffic signals.
