New Features Added to the Open Source Application Development Portal (OSADP)

Announcing OSADP 2.0!

The United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Joint Program Office (JPO) has made significant updates the OSADP 2.0 to enhance the experience for all users to find and access ITS-related applications.  The OSADP provides web-based access and collaboration on the source code and documentation for innovative, open source transportation applications.  The OSADP features Connected Vehicle and other ITS-related applications from the USDOT ITS Program and other sources to support the use and development of this technology.

The OSADP continues to grow, with 39 applications and related resources currently available for download.  The new OSADP provides multiple ways for users to browse content and find applications of interest.   The OSADP is continually updated, and all content that is quality-checked, well-documented, and freely available to registered users.

Application developers, researchers, and others are invited to visit the OSADP at http://itsforge.net to explore how they may use the available applications and resources.  For more information about the OSADP, please contact Jon Obenberger at jon.obenberger@dot.gov
