TRB Seeking Consultants with Highway Safety Research Expertise: Proposals Due November 24, 2015
TRB’s Studies and Special Programs Division invites letters of interest from persons wishing to be considered as consultants in support of the division's Committee on In-Service Performance of Guardrail End Treatments. Consultants will be engaged to write background papers for the committee on two topics:
1.Examples of highway agency practices regarding installation, maintenance, and evaluation of guardrail end treatments
2.A critical review of research on in-use evaluations of the safety of roadside design features, research methodologies, and related topics.
Details about the paper topics and additional information about the engagement are available online. To propose, submit a one- to two-page letter of interest, a resume providing your qualifications, and an executed liability statement to Joseph Morris at jmorris@nas.edu. Letters of interest are due by November 24, 2015.
