NOCOE #YTSMO Contest! Win a trip to the TRB 2017 Annual Meeting

The National Operations Center of Excellence (NOCoE), in partnership with the Transportation Research Board (TRB), is sponsoring a “(#YTSMO) Why Transportation Systems Management and Operations” contest for the “YoungTSMO” generation.

We are looking for students to create a 30-60 second video explaining Y-Transportation Systems Management and Operations matters to them as future TSMO professionals.

To be eligible, you must be a student at any level and 1) follow us on Twitter (@NOCoEOp1) and 2) Like us/subscribe to our LinkedIn page and 3) Sign up for our newsletter (HERE).

You may submit a video via social media; please make sure you tag #YTSMO #NOCoE #TSMO #@nocoeop1  for us to view your submission. You are also required to send your contact information to Patrick Son, Managing Director of NOCoE at pson@transportationops.org. The deadline for video submissions is December 1, 2016.  Winners will be notified in early December.  

The top 2 video submissions will receive paid registration and travel to TRB’s 96th Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, January 8-12th, 2017. The winners will also have the opportunity to take part in a 30-minute meeting with the NOCoE managing director and an NOCoE board member. The chosen students will also have the opportunity to write a short article for the NOCoE newsletter about their experience at the TRB annual meeting.
