The winner of the 2025 Transportation Technology Tournament (TTT) is the team from the University of Michigan.
In this year’s tournament, focused on planned special events, the Michigan team developed a solution that integrated a digital twin model for real-time system monitoring and forecasting, dynamic multimodal resource management for agencies, and an AI-powered traveler guidance and reservation app for visitors.

The Transportation Technology Tournament, started in 2018, is hosted by NOCoE. Teams work to solve real-world transportation challenges and improve their problem solving, teamwork, and communications skills. Teams are provided with training and resources to assist with their solutions and support was provided by local, regional and state agencies.
