ITS JPO Staff to Speak at Several Sessions During TRB 2016 Annual Meeting
Staff of the Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office (ITS JPO) will speak at more than a dozen sessions during the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 95th Annual Meeting.
During the event, ITS JPO staff will discuss the recently announced Smart City Challenge, automation opportunities and challenges, accelerating research processes to keep up with disruptive technologies, ITS around the world, cybersecurity issues, and the Connected Vehicle Pilots, among other topics.
This year's event will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, from January 10 to 14, and will include more than 5,000 transportation-related presentations in nearly 800 sessions and workshops covering all transportation modes. The spotlight theme is "Research Convergence for a Multimodal Future."
