The ITS JPO Selects Booz Allen Hamilton and Noblis to Provide Technical Support Services

The Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Joint Program Office (JPO), a multimodal program within the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), has selected Booz Allen Hamilton and Noblis to provide technical support services for the federal government's ITS research and deployment program.

Booz Allen and Noblis will support the technical execution of ITS JPO programs and provide non-personal technical support services to assist ITS JPO and USDOT modal staff in executing ITS research, development, and deployment activities as well as legislative/regulatory requirements related to the execution of the program. The contractors will provide a broad range of products and services, including subject matter expertise, skills and capabilities, and contextual experience, to complement the capabilities of the ITS JPO, USDOT, and other contractors to deliver the federal ITS program.

Services offered under the contract will align with the six elements of the ITS Strategic Plan 2015-2019 including Accelerating Deployment, Automation, Connected Vehicles, Emerging Technologies, Enterprise Data, and Interoperability.

The ITS JPO administers a $100 million annual budget for ITS research and development, which includes related supporting activities.
