Federal Highway Administration (Saxton Lab) Seeks Proposals for New Technical Support Services Contract

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has released a solicitation notice (RFP) for a full and open competitive procurement for "Technical Support Services for the FHWA Office of Operations Research & Development and the Saxton Transportation Operations Laboratory (Saxton Lab)." Under this prospective contract, the Contractor shall conduct advanced transportation operations research and development projects and tasks in support of the FHWA Office of Operations Research & Development's mission and activities, both internal in the Saxton Lab, and external at off-site locations as needed on a Task Order basis. The FHWA intends to award one indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract allowing for Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) and Time & Materials (T&M) Task Orders. The anticipated contract ordering period of performance is 60 months, with a total ordering ceiling of $75,000,000.
