A new brief from the AAA Foundation explores the factors associated with fatal wrong-way crashes. In an eight year span, from 2010 to 2018, AAA found that there were 3,885 deaths resulting from wrong-way crashes, with factors such as alcohol-impairment, older age, and driving alone, increasing the odds of these crashes.
