Minnesota DOT Adds New Features to 511 Traveler Information System

Motorists using the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s 511 traveler information system this winter have several new features to help them know what the state’s road conditions are before they venture out on the roadways.

Seeking an Operations Intern to Work in the National Operations Center of Excellence

The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) is seeking a graduate student to work in the National Operations Center of excellence (NOCoE) during the spring 2017 semester. Questions are due no later than COB December 15, to the attention of Mr. Strat Cavros, AASHTO Manager of Acquisitions, Contracts & Business Development (Contracts Manager), at scavros@aashto.org. This 13-minute video is part of a broader Security Awareness and Emergency Preparedness Training Program for Highway Division employees at MassDOT.  The training is being conducted by the Security and Emergency Management Department (SEM) at MassDOT.  The video and other parts of the training were developed with support from the Highway Operations Center and the Massachusetts State Police.
