National Traffic Incident Response Awareness Week is November 7-13, 2021

The initiative recognizing all traffic incident management (TIM) response communities will take place this year from November 7 -13, 2021. This week is our opportunity to make a difference individually and jointly for roadway safety during traffic incidents by teaching each other and the motoring public about our common goal and responsibility for safe, quick clearance.

TIM professionals, State and local public information and communications officers, Response community leaders are invited to this kick-off planning webinar. During this and subsequent planning webinars, the FHWA co-leads will conduct an all-state roll call, requesting responder communities in each State highlight their plans to commemorate the week. We kindly request highlight be limited to a minute or two.

The FHWA TIM program welcomes agencies to share a more detailed description of an innovative idea (5-10 minutes) or a notable implementation from the previous year. Please contact emira.rista@aemcorp.com to schedule a time during this kick-off or any subsequent webinar to share your success with peers.
