Summary:

Performance measurement and monitoring are becoming increasingly important to state departments of transportation (DOTs) as they work to improve the transportation system’s service to its users and contribution to the nation’s economy and general wellbeing. Growing federal program emphasis on system performance measurement and management is encouraging efforts to develop effective performance measures and performance monitoring practices. This webinar will focus on the presenters findings and opinions from research such as NCHRP 20-07(366), led by Aleks Stevanovic for AASHTO’s Standing Committee on Highways with support from the NCHRP. Further the presenters will discuss what we should anticipate in the near future and where we are heading.
